Woodmill Canoe Shop is the leading supplier of canoeing and kayaking boats, equipment, accessories

Managed by Southampton City Council Woodmill Canoe Shop was the first of its type to open forty
five years ago. The shop is situated at the tidal River Itchen from a converted mill surrounded by parkland
on the outskirts of Southampton.
A popular playsport next to the Shop is the internationally known as the Woodmill Weir. It is a
purposely developed concrete ledge which works year-round and offers a grippy cartwheel stopper or a spinnable surf
wave. Affectionally known as the 'Itchen Death Gorge' this tiny weir is tidal and begins to work from one hour
after high water.
Boats on offer for kayaking, canoeing, white water, polo, sea and recreational use include leading
brands such as Pyranha, Perception, P&H and Valley. The shop is also a test Centre for Dagger boats.
We stock paddles from Werner, Lendal, Robson and Streamlyte in all sizes, full length and split.
The Shop is also a major dealer in Yak and Palm clothing, Sweet kayak helmets and has a full range in white water,
sea and recreational equipment generally.

They can also provide a demonstration from a large fleet of demo boats on local water.
