Terms

Any angler aged 12 years or over, fishing for salmon, trout, freshwater fish or eels in England must have an Environment Agency rod license.

Rod licenses cost £8 per day (24 hours) or £72.00 per season.  Certain concessions and variations are available and if you are fishing with 3 or 4 rods a second license is required.  Rod licenses are available at Post Office’s, online by going to www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/recreation/fishing or over the telephone on 0844 800 5386.

Please note:  We now operate a mandatory catch and release policy in line with current fishery management best practice and environment agency guidelines.  Please refer to the fishing rules and booking conditions for further information.
